G. A. Carmichael is a 330 Communtiy Health Center nonprofit agent providing primary care services in Madison, Yazoo, and Humphreys Counties. G. A. Carmichael Family Health Center, (GACFHC) formally Madison, Yazoo, Leake Family Health Center has been in existence since July 1972. In December 1987, G. A. Carmichael expanded our health care services to Humphreys County. From establishment to expansion, residents of Madison, Yazoo and Humphreys counties in Central Mississippi have received accessible, affordable, quality health care from their neighbors at
G. A. Carmichael Family Health Center.

GACFHC Mission

Is to improve the health status of the uninsured and underinsured by providing access to comprehensive, cost-effective, quality health care, and health education. Regardless of sex, education, attainment level, income, ethnicity, or religion, G. A. Carmichael Family Health Center will work to achieve disparity and provide efficient care with compassion and professionalism.

In service of its mission, G. A. Carmichael Family Health Center will be a community based health care system, under the direction of a community based board, recognized by the communities we serve as a leader in providing accessible health care.
