About Angela F. Filzen, DDS

A native of Madison County, Dr. Angela (Barnes) Filzen brings over 20 years of clinical practice and national and state leadership to our organization. She is a graduate of Tougaloo College and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Dr. Filzen also holds a certificate of training completion from Meharry Medical College’s General Practice Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident during her tenure. A compassionate and caring provider, Dr. Filzen embraces interprofessional collaborative practice and continues to promote the value of good oral health to overall health and well-being.
